Why Stop Now?

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Rehab.”

Eli (Jesse Eisenberg) has an audition at a prestigious conservatory in the morning, and he needs his mother, Penny (Melissa Leo), sober and checked into rehab before he can go anywhere near it. Instead her dealer, Sprinkles (Tracy Morgan), takes the two of them hostage, over a drug debt that has to be settled before anyone gets anywhere. Ron Nyswaner and Phil Dorling put one night on the clock, and Eli's whole future depends on getting through it.
