“Passion never dies.”
In Chicago, Matthew (Josh Hartnett) is a young advertising executive about to leave on a business trip to China. Then he catches sight of a woman leaving a restaurant, and he is sure it is Lisa (Diane Kruger), the love who disappeared on him two years before. Paul McGuigan builds the film out of Matthew's search, one lead and one near miss after another.
