“Left with nothing. Capable of anything.”

A robbery on a Chicago street ends in a police shootout, and all four thieves are killed, leaving behind a debt to a crime boss. Veronica Rawlings (Viola Davis), Linda (Michelle Rodriguez) and Alice (Elizabeth Debicki) have nothing in common but the husbands they buried, and Steve McQueen puts them in a room together anyway. Out of that debt comes a plan, and an uneasy trust between three women who never chose each other.
