Wild Boys of the Road

“Girls living like boys! Boys living like savages!”

Nobody in town can explain why the money has stopped, only that Tommy's mother has been out of work for months and now Eddie's father has lost his job too. Eddie Smith (Frankie Darro) and Tommy Gordon (Edwin Phillips), two high school sophomores, decide the best thing they can do for their families is leave. William A. Wellman puts them on a freight train, and Eddie is still a kid trying to carry a man's worry.
