Wild in the Streets

(1968)Directed by Barry Shear94 min · RComedy, Drama, Music
“If you're thirty, you're through!”

Max Frost (Christopher Jones) is a rock star with a huge following of young fans, and he wants more say in how the country is run. When Senator Fergus (Hal Holbrook) asks for his backing on a bill to lower the voting age to eighteen, Max pushes for fifteen instead. Barry Shear films the rise of his movement like a news broadcast, quick and loud, with the satire kept plain.
