“There's nothing more dangerous... than an Irish woman in love.”

Rosemary Muldoon (Emily Blunt) has farmed the land next to Anthony Reilly's (Jamie Dornan) for years and has made up her mind to marry him. Anthony, who believes his family carries a curse, doesn't seem to notice her, and his father Tony (Christopher Walken) is planning to sell the farm to an American nephew (Jon Hamm). John Patrick Shanley, adapting his own play, follows Rosemary as she waits on a man who may never come around.
