Wild Target

“They said 'Take her out'. He got the wrong idea.”

Victor Maynard (Bill Nighy), a solitary and very efficient assassin, takes a job on Rose (Emily Blunt), then spares her life and finds himself with a young apprentice, Tony (Rupert Grint), he never asked for. Both of them believe Victor is a private detective, and they follow him around while his angry client keeps trying to have him dealt with. Jonathan Lynn leaves Victor in his mother's house, with Eileen Atkins watching him over her tea.
