“Friendship is a trip”

Six friends pile into a rental house in Napa Valley for Rebecca's (Rachel Dratch) 50th birthday, with Abby (Amy Poehler) running the weekend off a color-coded schedule. Maya Rudolph's Naomi, Ana Gasteyer's Catherine and Paula Pell's Val have been close for decades, and they arrive with old jokes and old grievances. Poehler's film is about how long friendships survive on showing up, year after year, for each other.
