Winter in Sokcho

Soo-Ha (Bella Kim) spends her days at a guesthouse in snowbound Sokcho, then moves between her mother's fish stall and her boyfriend's place. When the French artist Yan Kerrand (Roschdy Zem) checks in for the winter, she cooks for him and watches him draw, and the town starts to feel different to her. Koya Kamura films Sokcho in soft, cold light and lets the two of them speak mostly through meals and sketches.
