“Dare to play.”

Emily (Madison Iseman) and Christian (Aaron Dominguez) are opening a restaurant in New Orleans when they find a spirit board carved in seventeenth-century France by a witch exiled from Lorraine. They use it as a game until the entity on the other side begins to move through their circle of friends. Chuck Russell tightens the grip until Emily realizes the board was never meant to be found, and using it has already marked her for possession.
