“The call of the wild. The thrill of adventure. The mistake of a lifetime.”

Dan (Seth Green), Jerry (Matthew Lillard) and Tom (Dax Shepard) grew up inseparable and now barely speak, until the funeral of a fourth friend brings them back to the same room. Going through his childhood belongings, they find a trunk with notes on his search for the $200,000 that vanished with the hijacker D.B. Cooper in 1971. Steven Brill sends the three up a remote river to finish the hunt, and what they have left to settle is whether they still like each other.
