Without Limits

“PRE. The way he competed. The way he lived his life.”

A runner arrives at the University of Oregon with a pace nobody around him quite understands, and a coach who has to decide what to do with it. Bill Bowerman (Donald Sutherland), the man who would go on to co-found Nike, takes on Steve Prefontaine (Billy Crudup) and a talent that refuses to be held back. Robert Towne follows the two men as Prefontaine's record-breaking ambition puts everything he has to lose in play.
