Witness in the City

In 1959 Paris, a woman is thrown from a moving train, and the industrialist who killed her, Pierre Verdier (Jacques Berthier), walks out of the courtroom acquitted. Her husband, Ancelin (Lino Ventura), decides the law has finished with the case and he has not. Édouard Molinaro sets the two men on a collision course, one with his ordinary life intact, the other with nothing left but the pursuit.
