Woman in the Moon
A professor has been laughed out of the academy for claiming there is gold on the moon, and a rocket to reach it is nearly finished. Fritz Lang's silent film puts Wolf Helius (Willy Fritsch), the engineer behind the ship, on board with Friede Velten (Gerda Maurus) and Walt Turner (Fritz Rasp), a man with his own designs on the cargo. Friede, engaged to one crewmate and drawn to another, is the one the whole crew keeps watching.
