Woman of the Hour

“The perfect bachelor.”

Sheryl Bradshaw (Anna Kendrick) is an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles, and in 1978 her work is a spot as the contestant on an episode of "The Dating Game." Across the studio set sits one of the three bachelors, Rodney Alcala (Daniel Zovatto), who is charming on camera and a prolific serial killer. Kendrick, directing for the first time, builds it on a plain idea: how easily a room full of people can laugh along with a man they never thought to question.
