Woman on the Run

(1950)Directed by Norman Foster77 minThriller, Crime, Mystery
“As Startling as Your OWN Scream in the Night!”

Eleanor Johnson (Ann Sheridan) wants her husband found, though she suspects he left because of their marriage and not because he fears the killer he alone saw. Inspector Ferris (Robert Keith) is already following Frank, so Eleanor teams up with the newspaperman Danny Legget (Dennis O'Keefe) and goes looking herself. Norman Foster follows the two of them while the killer stays close, and what begins as a convenient arrangement turns into trust.
