Every night at the Wonder Bar in Paris, Harry (Ricardo Cortez) and Inez (Dolores del Río) dance together as a team, while the club's owner, Al Wonder (Al Jolson), and the bandleader Tommy (Dick Powell) both hold a torch for her. Lloyd Bacon directs a 1934 musical drama with Busby Berkeley's choreography. Inez loves Harry, but Harry is in love with Liane (Kay Francis), the wife of a wealthy businessman.
