Woochi: The Demon Slayer

“World beware. The wizard is coming.”

In Joseon-era Korea, a monk guards a sacred pipe meant to hold back the demons, and a trio of wizards will do anything to claim or protect it. Jeon Woo-chi (Gang Dong-won) is a fumbling wizard pulled into that fight, and four centuries later he is still at it, with Hwa-dam (Kim Yoon-seok) after him. Choi Dong-hoon, who made his name on heist films, builds this one as a folktale where power gets a man into trouble faster than it gets him out.
