Words and Pictures

“Is a man worth more than his words, a woman worth more than her pictures?”

At a private school, Jack Marcus (Clive Owen) teaches English and Dina Delsanto (Juliette Binoche) teaches art, and each is certain the other's subject matters less. Fred Schepisi has them settle it by turning the question over to their students, who are asked to decide whether words or pictures count for more. Both teachers have a lot riding on the answer, and neither can stand to lose in front of a classroom.
