Wuthering Heights

“A passion. An obsession. A love that destroyed everyone it touched.”

Heathcliff (Ralph Fiennes) arrives at Wuthering Heights as an orphan, taken in by the wealthy Earnshaw family and raised beside their daughter Cathy (Juliette Binoche). The two grow close, until Cathy, pressed by what her station expects of her, marries the well-off Edgar Linton (Simon Shepherd). Peter Kosminsky adapts Emily Brontë's novel as a story about love that gives way to social rank, and about the man who will not let it.
