“The epic story of love and adventure in a lawless land.”

Wyatt Earp (Kevin Costner) grows up under his father Nicholas (Gene Hackman), who teaches him that family and the law come before everything else. Lawrence Kasdan follows him from Wichita to Dodge City and on to Tombstone, with his brothers beside him and Doc Holliday (Dennis Quaid) joining the fight against the Clanton and McLaury gangs. Wyatt holds to his father's rule through every town, and it is the one thing he will not put down.
