“To save the future, they must alter the past.”

The future has run out of places to hide, and the surviving mutants are fighting a war for the survival of the species. Their one chance is to send Logan (Hugh Jackman) back into the past, where he must find the younger Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender). Bryan Singer moves between the two eras with the same urgency, and the ensemble keeps shifting from one fight to the next.
