“A new Greek odyssey”

After their Albanian mother dies, sixteen-year-old Danny (Kostas Nikouli) and his older brother Odysseas (Nikos Gelia) set out across Greece to find the father they have never met. Both were born in the country, yet neither is counted as Greek, and the trip takes them through places that treat them as outsiders. Panos H. Koutras refused two of his six Hellenic Film Academy awards until the law on citizenship for second-generation immigrants was changed.
