“Four deadly tales by four killer women”

XX premiered at Sundance in January 2017 as four short horror tales, each made by a woman director. Susan Jacobs (Natalie Brown), her husband Robert (Jonathan Watton) and their children Danny (Peter DaCunha) and Jenny (Peyton Kennedy) are the family in the first segment, "The Box." Jovanka Vuckovic, St. Vincent, Roxanne Benjamin and Karyn Kusama each direct one segment, so the film shifts in style from tale to tale.
