“Memories to cherish...”

Ronit Malhotra (Hrithik Roshan) meets Isha Singh Puri (Kareena Kapoor Khan), and the two fall in love quickly. They plan to tell her father, Raj Singh Puri (Jackie Shroff), only to learn he has already been arranging for Ronit to marry Monishka Rai. Subhash Ghai, who also wrote, edited and produced, builds the story as a musical drama around that collision between two families.
