Yakuza Princess
“Every sword has a story.”
In Brazil, Akemi (Masumi) learns she is the heir to a Yakuza empire, and the violence arrives almost at once. Shirô (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), a foreigner who has watched over her all this time, may have been sent to kill her. Vicente Amorim, adapting the graphic novel Samurai Shiro by Danilo Beyruth, keeps the pace tight and the look sleek.
