Year of the Dragon

“It isn't the Bronx or Brooklyn, it isn't even New York. It's Chinatown... and it's about to explode.”

Stanley White (Mickey Rourke) is a decorated New York police captain who has brought a private war against Chinatown's crime syndicates into his new precinct. His target is Joey Tai (John Lone), a young gangster rising fast through the drug trade. Michael Cimino follows White as he breaks protocol to reach him, with his wife and his superiors pleading for him to stop, and his career and marriage on the line.
