The Yo-Kai Watch has vanished from time, taken by the villains Kin, Gin and Bronzlow, who are helping Dame Dedtime keep humans and Yo-Kai from ever becoming friends. Keita Amano (Haruka Tomatsu) follows Hovernyan, Whisper and Jibanyan sixty years into the past, to the boyhood of the grandfather who first built the watch. Directors Shigeharu Takahashi and Shinji Ushiro put the whole bond between people and Yo-Kai at risk.
