Thaipparambil Ashokan Menon (Mohanlal), a young man from rural Kerala, is pulled into a chase across Nepal when a boy Lama, Rimpoche (Siddharth Lama), needs a protector and a cult of sorcerers wants him gone. Sangeeth Sivan sends them running from monastery to market, with Jagathy Sreekumar and Madhoo (as Aswathi Menon) caught up in the trouble. Under the chases and the jokes runs a plain idea: someone ordinary can be chosen to guard a child's life.
