Yokai Monsters: Spook Warfare

“The most bizarre monsters the world has ever seen!”

A Babylonian vampire called Daimon (Chikara Hashimoto) has come to Japan, and the spirits of the country answer by gathering against him. Shinhachiro Mayama (Yoshihiko Aoyama) is among the people caught up in it, alongside Lady Chie (Akane Kawasaki) and Hyogo Isobe (Takashi Kanda). Yoshiyuki Kuroda stages it all as theater, with each yōkai built in loud costume and set against painted worlds.
