Yomeddine

Beshay (Rady Gamal), a Coptic man raised in a leper colony, loads a cart behind his donkey and leaves the only home he has ever known. Obama (Ahmed Abdelhafiz), the orphaned Nubian boy who works beside him, follows along as they head across Egypt to look for what remains of their families. Abu Bakr Shawky, in his first feature, lets the old man and the boy bicker, share food, and lean on each other as the road carries them from town to town.
