You Are Not My Mother

“Every family has their secrets.”

Char (Hazel Doupe) is a teenager in a North Dublin housing estate when her mother Angela (Carolyn Bracken) vanishes without a word. Angela comes home days later, calm and strange, with no account of where she has been. Kate Dolan's debut follows Char as she lives alongside this stranger in her mother's face, determined to learn what happened and unwilling to stop asking.
