You Are the Apple of My Eye

“Do you still remember your high school days?”

Ko Ching-teng (Kai Ko) is a prankster at a private school in Taiwan who swears he is the one boy in his friend group not hopelessly stuck on Shen Chia-yi (Michelle Chen), the sunny star pupil. Giddens Ko, adapting his own semi-autobiographical novel for his directorial debut, puts Ching-teng in the seat just in front of her. He keeps up the act, goofing off in class, until the act gets harder to hold.
