You Can Live Forever

In 1990s small-town Quebec, Jaime (Anwen O'Driscoll) is sent to live with her aunt Beth and Beth's husband, a devout Jehovah's Witness hoping to lead his congregation. Sarah Watts and Mark Slutsky follow her into the Kingdom Hall, where she meets Marike (June Laporte), a girl who believes completely in everything Jaime has been told to keep quiet about. Jaime is a teenager still grieving her father, and she falls for Marike hard.
