“The house finds you.”

Theo Conroy (Kevin Bacon) wants his marriage back, and he books a rental house in the Welsh countryside for himself, his wife Susanna (Amanda Seyfried) and their daughter Ella (Avery Tiiu Essex) to try. The trip is meant as a reset, a few quiet weeks away from everything that has gone wrong between them. David Koepp keeps the family inside the house, and Theo starts to doubt what he sees and what he is capable of.
