Young Soul Rebels

Chris (Valentine Nonyela) and Caz (Mo Sesay) are disc jockeys in 1977 London who want a pirate radio station of their own, built on soul records. Then a friend is murdered, and Isaac Julien sends the two of them through skinheads, punks and soulboys to find out who did it. The film sets those scenes against one another, so the music, the clothes and the fights each belong to a group that wants the city for itself.
