Your Eyes Tell

“An ex-convict meets a blind girl.”

Akari Kashiwagi (Yuriko Yoshitaka) lost her sight in an accident, and she wants to keep hold of what life still has to give her, the small pleasures included. She strikes up conversations with Rui Shinozaki (Ryusei Yokohama), a former kickboxer who rarely speaks about his past. Takahiro Miki keeps the camera close on the two of them, so that her smile and the change it works in Rui carry the film.
