Youth

A luxury lodge in the Swiss Alps fills each summer with guests who have little left to do but rest and talk. Fred Ballinger (Michael Caine), a retired composer, turns down every request to conduct again, even from his daughter Lena (Rachel Weisz), while his oldest friend Mick Boyle (Harvey Keitel) works on a screenplay. Paolo Sorrentino lets the camera drift through the spa, the pools and the dining room at the pace of the guests themselves.
