Youth

Liu Feng (Huang Xuan) joins a military performing arts troupe in Chengdu, where the young dancers and musicians live side by side and every private hurt is public within a day. Some of them are fleeing a family scandal, others carrying a love that was never returned. Feng Xiaogang follows Liu Feng and He Xiaoping (Miao Miao), the girl he is closest to, as the troupe's small rejections start to decide who each of them becomes.
