“At Seabrook High, it's Zoms vs. Poms.”

Zed (Milo Manheim) is a zombie freshman in Seabrook who wants a spot on the football team at a school that has never let his kind through the front door. Addison (Meg Donnelly), a cheerleader with her own reasons for feeling like an outsider, befriends him, and Paul Hoen sets their friendship against a town that expects zombies and humans to stay apart. If the two can't show Seabrook what they can do together, they stay on opposite sides of the line.
