Walter Vismara (Alberto Paradossi) has never kicked a ball in his life, but his job depends on becoming a goalkeeper for his soccer-obsessed boss. He shows up to practice humiliated, mocked by teammates, desperate to salvage his paycheck. The film watches him pretend incompetence while training in secret, caught between the sport's relentless demands and the wreckage of his personal life, learning that sometimes the thing you resist most is where you find yourself.
