Zandalee

Zandalee Martin (Erika Anderson) is bored with her marriage to Thierry (Judge Reinhold), a poet who traded his verses for a corporate job. His old friend Johnny Collins (Nicolas Cage) arrives, a painter, egotistical and sure of himself, and she finds him hard to ignore. Sam Pillsbury, adapting Zola's Thérèse Raquin, builds the film around what grows between Zandalee and Johnny, a hunger that neither can talk themselves out of.
