Zardoz

“Beyond 1984, Beyond 2001, Beyond Love, Beyond Death.”

In the far future, barbarians known as Brutals grow food for a hidden community of Eternals and worship Zardoz, a giant stone idol. Zed (Sean Connery), a Brutal trained only to kill, is driven by curiosity about the idol and finds a way into the Eternals' world, where Consuella (Charlotte Rampling) and May (Sara Kestelman) are waiting. John Boorman sends him in with a long ponytail, a red loincloth and a gun, the only man among people who no longer die.
