Zatoichi and the Doomed Man

In Japan in 1965, the blind swordsman Zatoichi (Shintarō Katsu) is locked up for a short time, and a fellow prisoner begs him for help. The man has been sentenced to death for a crime he swears he did not commit. Zatoichi knows how often getting involved has cost him, but events keep dragging him in, and Kazuo Mori keeps the pace tight and restless.
