Zatoichi Challenged

In 1967 Japan, the blind masseur Zatoichi (Shintarō Katsu) is staying at an inn when a woman dies there, asking him to carry her young son to the boy's father, an artist in a nearby town. Kenji Misumi has Ichi find the father held by a local boss, forced to make illegal pornography to cover his gambling debts. On the road Ichi had befriended a samurai, Tajuro Akazuka (Jūshirō Konoe), and the two men are now on opposite sides of the same fight.
