Zatoichi the Fugitive

Ichi (Shintarō Katsu), a blind masseur and wandering swordsman, walks into the town of Shimonita wanting nothing more than a place to rest and ply his trade. He finds a price already set on his head by the local yakuza boss, Yagiri (Tōru Abe). Tokuzō Tanaka follows him as news of a killing reaches him, and the wanderer's calm gives way to grief for a woman he once loved.
