Zazie dans le Métro

“Liberté... Insanité... Hilarité!”

Zazie (Catherine Demongeot), a loud ten-year-old, is handed to her uncle Gabriel (Philippe Noiret) in Paris for a weekend, and all she wants to see is the Métro. The trains are on strike, so she goes looking for trouble above ground instead. Louis Malle sends her through a crowded city of jokes, puns and shifting characters, and she keeps barking back at every one of them.
