Zeus & Roxanne

“A friendship no one ever thought possible. An adventure no one ever will forget.”

A dog named Zeus slips aboard a research boat and refuses to leave, to the annoyance of marine biologist Mary Beth Dunhill (Kathleen Quinlan). She is working with a captive dolphin named Roxanne, and Zeus walks straight up to her and makes a friend. George T. Miller follows both pairs, the animals and the humans, including Zeus's owner Terry (Steve Guttenberg), showing how easily friendship crosses between species.
