Zola

“Y'all wanna hear a story?”

Zola (Taylour Paige), a waitress, meets Stefani (Riley Keough) over one shift, and by the next day she has said yes to a weekend in Florida with a stranger. The car also holds Stefani's boyfriend Derrek (Nicholas Braun) and a roommate called X (Colman Domingo), who never explains himself. Janicza Bravo builds the drive from a viral Twitter thread, and Zola can't tell yet what she has agreed to or what leaving will cost.
