Zulu

Brian Epkeen (Orlando Bloom) is a hard-drinking white cop in Cape Town, still carrying the damage of the apartheid years. He works beside Ali Sokhela (Forest Whitaker), a Zulu police captain who survived the Inkhata killings as a boy. A young woman is found dead, and the case leads toward the apartheid regime's weapons program. Jérôme Salle shoots it as a slow tightening, drawn from Caryl Férey's prizewinning crime novel.
